Starting DevLog: Learning, Building, and Sharing in Public
Welcome to DevLog!
I created this space with a simple and grounded intention: to document my own learning and day-to-day work, and to share the parts that can be made public with others.
The Value of Writing It Down
The most effective way to truly understand a concept is to write about it.
In daily engineering, research, and investing, ideas flow fast: an architectural decision in an AI workflow, an economic nuance in a decentralized protocol, or a mental model for sizing market risks. Without dedicated reflection, these lessons tend to evaporate into the noise of daily routines.
This blog serves first and foremost as my personal logbook—a disciplined canvas to crystallize thoughts, organize notes, and track how my mental models evolve over time.
Learning in Public
Much of our best work and learning happens behind closed doors, but knowledge compounds faster when shared.
Whenever possible, I believe in sharing in public:
- Distilling lessons learned from real engineering and research.
- Breaking down complex papers, systems, or on-chain mechanics into understandable pieces.
- Sharing investment frameworks and retrospective notes on what worked and what didn’t.
If a note here saves you an hour of debugging, clarifies a protocol design, or sparks a new perspective, this blog has done its job. It’s not about claiming to have all the answers—it’s about sharing honest, high-signal notes from the frontier.
What to Expect Here
You will find notes and essays spanning three interconnected domains:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI): Autonomous agents, frontier model capabilities, prompt engineering vs. system scaffolding, and real-world production challenges.
- Crypto & Web3: Decentralized protocols, tokenomics, consensus mechanisms, and on-chain market dynamics.
- Investment & Market Thinking: Macro cycles, capital allocation in exponential technologies, mental models, and seeking asymmetric risk/reward.
A Quiet, Distraction-Free Space
I chose to build this site with Astro 5 and host it on GitHub Pages so it remains lightweight, fast, and completely free from algorithmic feed algorithms and social noise.
